Antique gas pump

Post by Phil »

I wanted to make a model of an antique gas pump to display with the Model T replica that I made recently. Highpockets found a 3D model for me and a friend 3D printed the pump handle (hard to see, very small). It's 11" tall The Ford decal was printed on a color laser printer.

Love those old pumps. I had an uncle who let me use his ford ranchero for dates on the weekend. I got gas from the pump at his house. I also had to get bales of hay from the barn to feed his cattle. The cattle knew when the cafeteria wagon was coming with me honking the horn.
Glad you shared it. Thank you.

NICE job Phil!

Had an eccentric well off wheeler dealer uncle that collected half a dozen old pumps
while I was in my teens, and old pumps were being replaced.
My favorite was a lever pump to fill up a gradated glass bowl up...
but the neatest thing was the colored glass bubbles that floated and
which ones floated gave you the octane :)
They went really well on his Morgan horse farm!

Well done on both of those.
