Square outside corners

I'm sure there is an easy way, I haven't found it. I'm trying to cut out a 3" square from 3/4" material (my 1/16" and 1/8" bits aren't long enough) and I want the outside corners to be square. So far all my attempts produce a radius on the outside corners.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Please post a sample crv3d file. The square will do. Include toolpaths.

When you create the rectangle is the square corners box checked?

A toolpath for a 90 degree outside corner will produce code with a curve in it as that is the only way to cut a square corner with a round tool. If you're looking at the 2D toolpath preview and seeing a radius that is why. The actual 3D preview should be a 90 degree. If you're seeing a radius on your machine when cutting then there's something wrong with your control software settings for handling tight radius curves.

If it's none of that and you're seeing the radius on the actual vector then you have the radius box selected in the rectangle tool.

The allowance offset is causing the problem. When set to 0 the toolpath will produce square corners. Not sure why until I do a little research.

Thanks Steve. Changed Allowance Offset to 0, previewed path and it is right.
