Hi there does anyone have a post for a heian router, the one in apire has a default z positive movement which puts the router in an over travel straight away.

Are you sure you just don't have your "Z gap above material" set to too large a value on the Material Setup form (top of the toolpath tab)?
There are no default positive moves in that post processor. In common with most the first thing it does is to move to the Z Home (gap above material) position.
