transferring downloads to the vectric site

Hi,
I am new to the cnc machine i have been trying to download new files i have brought from etsy and i download them and get the picture up on the vectric site but it wont allow me to then select it if i press the bitmap button the image then disappears
Does anyone know what i may be doing wrong ?????

What type of files did you purchase through Etsy? Are they STL files?

How can I import a 3D model into Aspire/VCarve from another software program?

You first need to create a new job or already have a job open in the software to be able to import 3D files from another software program.

Use the Import a Component or 3D Model icon located on the Modeling tab in the Modeling Tools section OR use File > Import >Import Component / 3D Model.

Both methods will allow you to browse your PC's folder system, and once you find a suitable file type, you can select it and click Open. If it is compatible then it will be imported and added to the Component List, with the component name will be derived from the file name (but can be renamed at any time).
