Trouble Updating to 10.022

Patch file downloads, but when run nothing happens no update. Any ideas.

Your virus or malware checker may be the problem. I had to temporarily disable Malwarebytes.

I just did the update, and it took far longer than usual, even allowing for my "country internet" satellite connection. However, it did eventually run the updater and all seems fine. Apart from the Release Notes being for previous versions, not this one. DOn't forget to close VCarve for the update.

Just noticed I'm in the Aspire forum... I run VCarve Pro. The procedure should be the same.

I tried the update, when it gets to the end of the install I get an error that say's " Can't Delete Aspire10.exe". I haven't had any problems with any of the updates before this one. I did turn off my virus protection, still no luck. I'll keep an eye on this topic/posts.

What operating system are you using & how are you updating? Might be best to contact Vectric support. I updated without any problems yesterday. Seemed to instal just the same as previos updates. I'm running the latest version of windows 10 pro 64 bit.
Your Portal account will contain the latest updated version so you could use that to update.

Did you have Aspire already open while you installed? Try a reboot, then install before doing anything else.

i think maybe he had installed the 21st version before.
And didn't go back to the 19th.

The easiest way would be to save the USER FOLDER.
Uninstall Aspire. And then reinstall and update to version 22.
Then play back the USER FOLDER.

I stayed with 21 and updated to 22 without any issues. Generally these issues are caused by processes holding onto a file handle and a reboot releases them.
