Suggestions on Cutting Avonite?
Any suggestions on cutting Avonite? Does it machine like Corian?

There are two types of Avonite.
Acrylic, which is basically the same as Corian.
And Polyester. The polyester is lighter weight, and very brittle. Smells like fiberglass when you cut it.
If you are 3D carving it, either should cut the same.
If you are cutting shapes from the polyester stuff, make sure you climb cut, or corners can chip.
