Trouble importing bitmap

Had to get a new computer loaded Aspire on it. Downloaded a bitmap file saved it to the download file and it shows up there on the computer. But when I try to open it in Aspire it is telling me file is empty, have tried to open every way I can think of. Even tried moving file to a flash drive which it shows the file being there, but when trying to with Aspire it is like the file isn't there. It is the same file I used on the old computer the only different is old computer had windows 7 the new has windows 10.

It is a .jpeg file

I got it figured out thought I was saving as a .jpeg but wasn't lol. When I saved it as a jpeg it worked fine. Dummy me
