Does Vectric ever have a sale? I'm ready to update to Aspire, and can afford it but boy could I use a break on that $1300 price tag!

Not in the 12 years I have been using it.

I have never had a good opinion of sales. All sorts of annoying things happen. First, if I need something right away and cannot wait for a "sale" then when something goes on sale a month later I feel like I was ripped off. Or one can sit around waiting for a "sale" to happen which is not pleasant either. Finally, if a company can sell something at a sale price how come it has to be more expensive the rest of the time?

Sales make sense to me when a company is clearing out stock of an item they will no longer sell.

In comparison to other competitive pricing for other vendors, the price IS very good for what you get.

Keep in mind, that aspire vs vcarve pro, is all about the model creation.

Make sure you look at the product comparison chart to see the differences.

You are overlooking the biggest discount.

Vectric allows to you trade in your current Vectric product and not pay the full cost of newer software.

They should be congratulated for doing this, not criticized for no discounts.

When was they last time Microsoft or any other software company did this for an upgrade?

What I really like about Vectric not having sales is:

Not being bombarded with BS emails telling me what a great deal I am missing. Or annoying pop ups that some clown thought was the best idea since sliced bread.

While I appreciate all the replies to my question, I don't understand the opinions and gender references. While just like that void in our rear, we all have opinions. Whether I'm a male or female I don't believe it determines my desire to get the best posable deal. Using the "no question is a stupid question' philosophy, ( I know some here don't ascribe to that thought ), I asked for and received a discount on my last CNC purchase. The company replied to me with an offer to sell me a prototype stand that functioned just as well as the production one for half price. I saved $250 all with my male anatomy intact. Oh, and the wife thought it was a good deal too![/b][/b]
