A great gift. Can you provide an Aspire 4.5 version of the file or a set of vectors. Would love to made these for Christmas gifts.

I think this is what Makingtoothpicks means .This saves as a *.crv file without the 3d components.jimandi5000 wrote:Can you provide one in a V Crave format?

Thanks for explaining how to save in Vcarve format, I had no idea.
For those of you wanting Vcarve or vectors, here you go. Enjoy.

JimmyD - you're da' man! Took the DXF file and very quickly generated a workable model. The DXF is good for us old timers that have yet to upgrade! Thanks again and Happy Holidays! Russ

Re: Holiday gift for everyone - Party Serving Tray
I love the Freebie design and I love the idea of sharing files with others this time of year! I'm going to have to get busy and make something nice to share as well! Thank you Jimmy!
Re: Holiday gift for everyone - Party Serving Tray
Thanks, Jimmy
I just cut one of these today to see, if after mm conversion, and adapting the toolset, to suit what I have available, would it work out.
Its cut from an offcut of 21mm oak faced plywood floorboard as a test before going on to cut in a nice hardwood mix. Initial thoughts were that this was going to be very bulky and heavy in hand, especially when fully laden but with the pocketing it's surprisingly lightweight
It all turned out mighty fine.
Thanks again
Regards

Re: Holiday gift for everyone - Party Serving Tray
I'm glad everyone is enjoying these, that was my intent!
Regarding it being lightweight, I went through multiple design iterations before I settled on this one. I highly recommend maple.

Without sounding ridiculously daft, in case I'm asked...as I haven't tried it yet.
Can you mirror image something and it carries the toolpaths..or does one have to reassign and calculate
don't hate me
Just thinking about the Left Handers amongst us

It already works for left handed people. In fact it works better than for righties.
