I'm getting started in modeling and have tried all the different modeling tools to get the shape in the pictures below. I am striking out. I know it can be done, I just don't know how. I created the shapes pictured in Sketchup in about 2 minutes. I want to create another Pyramid4.jpg to intersect the first one at a 90 degree angle and merge with it so the peaks of the pyramid are even with each other. Yes, pyramid 1,2,3, when you look from the top, are narrower at the bottom then the top.
Was wondering if any of the 3D guru's on here might be able to steer me in the right direction?
Thanks!!

I made a quickie video for you. It's pretty easy and fast (less than 2 minutes!)

Are you talking about something like this?
Two rail sweep with a triangle profile. Open and click on the 3d view.
Hope this helps.

WOW!!! Thank you so much guys.
I tried two rail sweep and just couldn't figure out how to get the ends to slant in.

You can just make one line (a rail) shorter than the other one. When you do the sweep, the ends will automatically “slant” in to the end points of the shorter line (rail). Try it!DLWOODWORKS wrote:WOW!!! Thank you so much guys.

Michael, thanks for the learning suggestion.
Here is a revised version where the triangle profile is created in two parts, with the middle rail being recessed on both sweeps. Do you have a suggestion on how one would fill in the ends so that the end sections slant toward the middle recessed rail.
Thanks,
Mike
