Model for V-carve pro

Post by potzmannwoodshop »

Hey everyone,

I run VCarve Pro, and I have a project for myself that I need a dome added to a vector. I am making a guitar and would like to make a curved profile to the back. The cost to upgrade software for a personal project that I will use once is not justifiable for me. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Edit to add vector. What Im looking to do is have a dome droping a 1/4 from the center line following the couture of the vector. I know I can do something close with the fluting toolpath , but i would rather have something closer to ideal so i dont have to do as much hand work.

I was just fulling around to give you some ideas. Both were done on VCP v10.x using the Level Clipping option.

Check out this tutorial.

When I first saw Todd's presentation I couldn't believe how powerful it really is, especially for VCP users.
