Spiral Hand Clock

Post by rdean33422 »

I finished this spiral hand clock this afternoon and thought I would post it here.
I saw a photo of a similar design on the web somewhere.

Archimedes spiral was made of aluminum using the spiral gadget.

WOW!!! Great project and a real conversation piece. I would stare it for a while and then ask "what time is it"

I love unique clocks and this is a first for me. Very cool clock, and well done!
Are there plans available for similar designs?

I just drew this from a picture I saw and kept changing it until everything worked out like it should.
Since this is just a vector drawing with no 3d model it should be able to be cut in many Vectric programs.
I will attach the vectors I used to make this but the design can be changed to your liking.

Thank you

This is called a Fibonacci clock. It appears to me that if you live in a dungeon, with no concept of day or night, you won't know the difference between 12:00 AM and 12:00 PM. (Not that it would matter much in a dungeon) A 24 hour version wouldn't be much help either? :?
