I purchased & downloaded Aspire 10.0 with no problems. I am lasering a couple signs for my son's wedding in a few weeks. Appears to be fine.
The only hitch is I also purchased a Design & Make model set at the same time as it was a bargain.
While it lists it in the receipt, there was no link to download the models to my computer...
I sent a feedback request. They are usually pretty good at resolving issues.

When you log-in to your V&Co account, check the 'View Downloads' link. Does it show the clipart that you've purchased below your software downloads list?

Alternatively, you can check the clipart tab in Aspire. Go to the Design & Make folder and use refresh online clipart button. After logging to your V&Co account it may appear there for download.

I have Aspire and due to retirement and limited means, is it possible just to upgrade to V-Carve 10 and run Aspire 9.5 separately?

Hi Redwood,

I'm sorry to say that our licensing system will simply not allow you to do this, the only way to have dual products is to purchase VCarve Pro in addition to Aspire. This way you would have VCarve Pro V10 and Aspire V9.5. Although this would work out more costly than upgrading your current Aspire 9.5 license to V10.

Sorry about that.

Just wondering...I received an email advising that my "FREE upgrade to Vectric VCarve Pro V10 us available now from your (my) V&CO account", however, when I access the account the only version available is the $400 US upgrade. Was the free upgrade notice sent in error? Did anyone else experience this? Thanks for any replies.

Hi,

Thank you for your comments.

Due to a system error some of our customers have received emails incorrectly advising them that the upgrade to version 10 is free. We are very sorry for this error.

We will be sending out new emails to those affected very soon. If you are unsure about your eligibility for a free upgrade, please email our support team on support@vectric.com from your registered email address and they will clarify this for you.

We are very sorry for any confusion and inconvenience this has caused.

Thanks
Stephanie

Awful lot of money for an upgrade.
Is it worth it?

Hi Martin,

You can see more information on the new and enhanced features available in version 10 here: https://www.vectric.com/upgrade/aspire

We have also created a what's new in V10 video where all of the enhancements and features are shown in action. Take a look here:

Thanks

"Awful lot of money for an upgrade" is relative. I have CAD/CAM products we use in our business that charge 1x to 4x that amount every year for maintenance and the upgrades contain less meat in them them this one. In addition, Vectric's practice has been to only charge for the major .0 releases which come out approximately every 2 years. The .5 releases in the following year often contain very significant improvements, and are free.

That's a deal in my book.
