Have had a Delivery mishap and some basketball medals for a team are not going to be delivered on time. I have decided in order to keep the kids happy I will make some out of wood. Problem is I cannot think of any thing quick. If anyone can spark an idea for me I sure would appreciate it. Their banquet is tonight.
Thanks in advance, Kathy

Re: Sincere desperation here
ONLY for Kathy PLEASE!
Our production Desktop still makes these for income.
Kathy, all I could think of off the shelf was 2 different large key fob files suitable for any graphic you could find.
Designed for ZZeroing from spoilboard with a backerboard for the .2" stock....They'll need mods if you don't have a 1/2" Point cutting roundover and mods for material Z to the top.
Maybe not suitable? All I can think of quick. Maybe resize a little?
Hope it helps in your crunch.
scott
Kathy...Maybe a pic of the originals? I have a little free time right now.

Now that Kathy has them (I assume), I would think an edit to remove attachments.
It appears that a few others have not been so considerate.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. Would love nothing more than to download these. But through Scott's contributions over the years I would not feel right about it. Heart given help is hard to beat and even harder to capitalize on.
Bravo to you Scott for stepping up to the plate for a CNCer in need. I would have but could not come up with anything that quickly.
Kudos to you kind sir.

Re: Sincere desperation here
THNAK YOU ALL.
It has been one of those days. right after I posted asking for help this am our electricity went out and it has been out all day, it just came back on. Heavy snow knocked down the power lines and a couple of poles as well. The good news is that UPS located my freight and delivered it so I was able to get the kids their medals. they will have to return them to me after their party for engraving. But all is well out here in Eastern Washington State this evening. I am not able to express how grateful I am to be able to call out for inspiration and get such positive responses.
Thanks to all.
Kathy

Re: Sincere desperation here
VERY glad you got straightened out Kathy!!
Looks like somebody from Staff deleted them:) Thanks!!
Thanks for the kind thoughts guys...there were more downloads than I thought would happen from this forum, BUT maybe they were just interested in the toolpathing/feeds/speeds and deleted afterwards. You would have been welcome Dwayne to check it out, but without the prep/holdown/cutting strategy/finishing process nobody could make money at it:)
Cutting is MAYBE 20% of the time spent
Besides...Karma will get them...without me getting my hands dirty

Unfortunately Scott not everyone on the forum is the same , just look at the number of people registered. You also don't need to be a registered forum member to view & download anything you like so add to that number all the people who view the forum & just take what they want, sounds a bit harsh but that is how life seems to be nowdays.
The good thing is that Kathy updated the post & the kids didn't go without on the day
