They already have. Two in fact. One is the circle tool and the other is the arc tool. Both far more versatile that my (now antique) metal compass. What we all could benefit from is a better memory of what we should have learned in our math/geometry class(es). JMHO

How true it is I can't tell you how many times in high school I said. I ain't ever gonna use this. Little did I know I would be using high end math everyday at my job. If I could only tell my old teachers that now.
