Help with Letter Sculpting
Looking to create this letter in Aspire 8 and have all heights the same. Customer does not like where some parts are lower. I am sure it is probably easy. Any help or guidance would be great! Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with Letter Sculpting
So you mean you want the top flat??
No need to create anything then. Just use the same font and a 2d toolpath cut to the right depth.

Re: Help with Letter Sculpting
No actually I am trying to round the top like the one in this picture. I just do not want the "bumps" in the letter, but a smooth rounded top the spans the entire letter. Thanks! https://www.dropbox.com/s/vn0u1eteambxi ... E.jpg?dl=0

Re: Help with Letter Sculpting
So something like this?
If this is what you want, I took the picture you have, traced the letter, then created a component for each "line". So one for the back of the E, one each for the top and bottom, one for the middle, and one each for the "turns".
Merged all, then sculpted them smooth.
Again, you can do it a lot better but it should get you on your way. Sculpting tool, smooth.
Took me a few minutes so I admit it's not "finish" grade but trying to get your point. If this is what you want, I took the picture you have, traced the letter, then created a component for each "line". Re: Help with Letter Sculpting
Using the technique I show in this video: http://support.vectric.com/tutorials/V8 ... ude_1.html would allow you to achieve what you need.
Thanks,
