Got it! We'll get together another time, then. Our drive will only be about 5.5 hours. Fortunately, we won't have to deal with Atlanta traffic!

We're looking forward to the meeting this week and Beki and I are putting the finishing touches on the topics we'll be covering on Friday and Saturday. As a bit of a teaser here is a photo of some of the things I'll be working through at the meeting. There is a good mix of ideas with a variety of drawing, modeling and toolpathing examples along with the usual selection of time saving and quality enhancing tips and tricks.

So assuming we have an uneventful journey we'll see you all at Jim's on Thursday afternoon.

Cheers,
James

I feel like a kid the week before Christmas. I am so looking forward to making new friends and learning from the best. I am a total newbie but am an avid admirer of all of the work on this site. If I pick up one tidbit of information on this trip it will be so worth it.

This trip is going to be great for me also that I get to spend what down time we have with my youngest daughter who attends the University of South Carolina. I am also bringing my oldest daughter with me so they can spend some much needed sister time together.

See everyone Thursday morning.

Unfortunately, I have to cancel for the camp. If anyone has someone who'd like to attend they can contact me or Jim.
Thank you,
Dan

And so it begins....

Today begins the annual pilgrimage to the Aspire Camp at Jim McGrew’s.
I wish all have a safe trip and that you return home with more information than you bargained for,
had at least one “AH-HA ! “ moment ,
and started or renewed friendships with people with the same passion as you ..

Best regards,
Michael

I'm looking forward to this trip again also. I'll leave around 11 am tomorrow and arrive at Jim's business around 3:30 to 4 pm to unload my show and tell table stuff. Some older and some new stuff. Two new guitars and two of the most complex Paradise boxes I have made so far.

I arrived earlier than planned today and Michael was already here getting things ready for show time tomorrow. I filled up the first show & tell table this time. Eagerly awaiting this annual meeting.

I will echo what Michael has said above, would love to be able to attend one of these but being in the UK & not being particularly well off it isn't going to happen unless I am fortunate enough to have a large lottery win

Looking forward to seeing pictures from the event & hopefully some video as well

As I read the posts about folks driving for many hours to go to this camp, I can't help but believe that it will be worth me driving the 30 minutes from home to get there. I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow.

My wife and I arrived in Columbia this evening - only a six hour drive. We had some great burgers at Grill Marks!!!

I'm looking forward to meeting you folks in the morning.
