There are so many free fonts avaliable that are great, why would you ever want to buy?

Did you install the fonts after you downloaded them?

How can I add more fonts?
Additional True Type and Open Type fonts can be obtained from many sources and available to use once the font has been properly installed the Windows Font Directory and the program restarted.

This is not hard to do and typically if you right click on the font file, it will give you the option to install the font. If that option is not available, the exact process can be found in the Help Document for your version of Windows.

The included Single Line Fonts are installed during the program's installation and cannot be changed or added to.

Regarding purchased fonts...
Look at LetterHead fonts at letterheadfonts.com: ->Link

Linotype has good ones: ->Link

A year or so ago one of the members here had a thread about using purchased fonts. What needs to be understood that lots of folks are grinding out fonts, some of them good, some not so much. Mostly though they all print well. But printing isn't carving by a long shot. Downloading free fonts works well, but sometimes I find loops, overlaps, kerning all goofed up, etc. Loops will drive a person a bit crazy real fast.

Purchased fonts are crafted with much greater care, they can also have extensions on them for things like ligatures which are not typically present in a free font.

I use free fonts a lot, but I would never, ever tell anyone they were just as good as the purchased ones.

No, it is not just a sales pitch.
