Aspire V8.0 released for existing Aspire Customers

Vectric are delighted to announce the release of Aspire V8 for existing Aspire Users.

All Aspire customers will automatically be sent an email to let them know the upgrade is available; this email will include information on how to download the new version or purchase the upgrade. These emails will go out in batches, so it may take several days to distribute. The emails will be sent to the email address you registered with Vectric when you purchased the software. If you have a licensed copy of Aspire and have not received an email from Vectric by Wednesday, 4th March, first check your junk / spam folder to make sure the message hasn't ended up there, and then please send an email to sales@vectric.com from the email address that the software was registered to.

For people entitled to purchase the upgrade, the cost is $400.

Aspire V8 is the successor to Aspire V4.5, we have brought the version numbers of Aspire and VCarve Pro into line with this release. This is a major release, with all new video tutorials and tutorial browser, a significantly expanded clipart library and a large number of new tools and features along with changes to the modelling interface to make modeling in the 3D view much more intuitive.

All customers with V8 will be able to access all their installation files, clipart file and tutorials from the new web based Vectric Portal which is being introduced for this release. Over time, we plan to expand this facility to all customers and all products, but initially it will only be available for customers with Aspire 8 who have followed the registration process in the emails they will receive.

We hope to have VCarve Pro V8 ready for release within the next few weeks.

FYI the "Whats New in Aspire 8" pdf has an error in it.

Page 4 lists

Flourish_158-57882 and the picture is flourish_158, but the number is really 57822 NOT 57882

57882 is the Eagle Head 7

Just got done reading the "What's New" articles and sounds great. nice to see the 3D roughing ramp option that was talked about at the UK meeting included (thanks a huge amount). Seriously looking forward to getting my teeth into the new program and already have a few client that i will be showing what these new tools can do for them in finished products.
