I suspect you'll have to wait until the user group conference in October to hear anything about it.

I have absolutely NO privy information and do not even hear rumors - BUT - it would be my guess that there will be an upgrade for early 2015. That would put us at about 2 years since the last major upgrade.

Again - that is a pure GUESS - with NO supporting evidence - on my part.

Would be nice if they moved into a true multi-axis platform

I received a file to test from support which I couldn't open with Aspire 4.5. It was a Beta version 4.519, so they are obviously doing continual upgrades.

Oh there WILL be an upgrade. That is certain. Software companies cannot continue to exist without upgrades. Plus - we always want more.

OK I know vectric said 5.0 would be done when it is done! No problem with that, no one likes bug infested software!!!!!!

Any rumors from the User Group meeting about:

proposed features;

proposed enhancements;

estimated price point for us loyal up graders!!!

I'm certain Vectric staff will make announcements when they feel the software is ready. dh

At the Orlando ugm, they were using an updated version to demo with. The biggest thing I saw was the ability to edit the project directly on the 3d screen. That was pretty cool.
