Looks like a nice crowd and some fantastic show and tell items.

Wish I could have made it. Maybe next time.

Jim, looks like you have a great turn out for the meeting. I wish we were closer in location. Don't know what I'm more jealous over, not being at your meeting or your weather. It's 8:00 am Saturday morning here in Michigan, and still only 10 degrees.
Best Regards

Gc3

Sigh...maybe next year. I am glad ya'll had such a great turnout.

Who made the skull pedestal table? That is magnificent!

Where can I acquire the file/model for just a single skull like that?

Nick did an awesome job of explaining the rotary project even though I don't have a rotary. Great job Nick.

Jim forgot to post the most important pictures. Here you go

Thanks to Jim for hosting an excellent camp - which is probably still in progress as I type this. I am now at the airport on my way home and judging by how little voice I have left it feels like we must have covered a lot today! Thanks to all who turned up and brought the really excellent set of parts for the show and tell tables.

Cheers,
James

PS _ Don, I did not touch the rocking horse and can only assume the bizarre look on my face in that photo was doctored as I never look odd :)

A big thank you to James McGrew, and Vectric for putting on a good show. I am just hoping that I will remember how to do all that "easy" stuff. It was two days of information crammed sessions. Apparently James Booth would be a stand-up comedian (or maybe a sit-down one) if he was not an Aspire guru and fountain of 2-1/2D art. A lot of good info also from Tim, Nicky, Brian, Joey, Michael, Keith and many others, also. It was also great to put faces on the familiar names from the forum.

The Aspire Camp was great fun! I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know so many of you personally. I came away encouraged and very impressed with everyone I came in contact with. It's so nice to be able to shake the hands of my forum friends!

I'm sure looking forward to the next gathering! Thank you Jim (McGrew) for providing the facility, equipment, support and hospitality. You made us all feel right at home.

Of course, very special thanks to the Vectric team for creating such fine products that formed this common bond within the CNC community in the first place!

My heartfelt thank to Jim Mcgrew for his unabashed hospitality over the past few days.
To James and Brian for their continued interest in what we, their clients, think and need from them, my thanks.
The presenters were as expected, excellent.
Did I learn everything I need to,,, no.
Did I come away with more than what I arrived with,,,absolutely.
One of the most important issues I learned is that we are a fiercely independent group, but not stubborn enough to ask for help if needed nor egotistical to offer help when asked.
It is these people that I admire the most.
I could not have gotten to the place I am now without all your help.
As for me, I enjoy trying to resolve problems because it challenges me to see if I really know what I think I know.
Sometime I do, sometimes not, but that’s when other are there to help.
In the end, we are all responsible for our own success or failure, but with support from a group like this, failure is not in my future.
Thank you to all, whether at the meeting or not.
Best regards,
Michael

Amen to what the others said above! Jim put on quite a shindig and it was crammed with good times, great food, and more expertise and advise than one can absorb in a year! A great big thanks to everyone who presented and shared :D :D
