2D/3D view

Post by JimmyJ »

I need a little help. When I go from 2D to 3D view the 3D view is blank. I have done something without realizing what I did. How can I get the 3D view to show back up.
Thanks Jim

3D views shows two things:
  • a 3D model imported as STL or created from 3D processes
  • results of a toolpath preview
If you don't have any 3D elements you'll see nothing in 3D view.

If you've selected preview toolpaths but have not actually previewed a toolpath then you'll just see the material block (which might look like nothing).

I have 3d elements. They show in 2d but when I click 3d nothing but a blue background. When I run a tool path preview it works fine and shows the 3d preview. When I reset preview all I see is blue background. This is only happening in this one file. I have tried other 3d files and everything works fine. I can redo this one fairly easily. Just trying to figure out what I did.
Thanks for your response

I was sure ohiolyons had the right answer, never even crossed my mind that it might be a double-sided job
