In the last update of VCarve and Aspire when I determine I want to save the settings "tab layout", Dialog layout and "View layout" this is being ignored and every time I start them they go back to default mode.
Anyone else going through this?
It's a pain to have every time I turn on VCarve or Aspire it adjusts the screen as I like it because I use an ultrawide and it makes it easier for me to work with the tabs in another way.

Please upload the file.
What toolpath are you using to see Tab Layout and View Layout?
I did a simple profile with tabs and it seem to work as I expected. I did not see your wording in the Profile Toolpath.

Re: Save Tab Layout issues
I think Alex is posting about the Program Options rather than cutting tabs etc.
Alex, I have to mention the Edit/Options menu where there are settings for Save Tab Layout and Save View Layout.
Perhaps you didn't remember those settings, or you are posting that those settings aren't working for you?

Re: Save Tab Layout issues
So under EDIT, OPTIONS, the first 3 "window layout" settings you set them to "yes" but when you shut down and start back up they are set to " No" ?
If that is the case I would try reinstalling the program.

Re: Save Tab Layout issues
Hi !
Sorry for I didn't upped pics from my screen.
Well, after so long times using both softwares just today I see that before I change the tabs positions, first I need go to the Options and check the "Yes,Yes,Yes" and so change the tabs positions.
That is strange 'cause once you check the options the settings should be saved no?
Thanks for your atention guys!
Enjoying the theme "TABS"
You don't think that the new upgrade to 11.5 could come with a possibilit to us decide where a Tab must to be choosing it precision localization?

Can't say this is the case with this item, but many settings don't take effect until you close the software and restart

Re: Save Tab Layout issues
You need to set the Tab Location to Bottom under Window Layout. It's not controlled by the three Save options. Guess that is what you're doing but there seems to be a lot of confusion in this thread.Alex Navarro wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 2:26 amNo way!

Working fine for me despite several attempts to make it fail with 11.016
