I am making a spindle and the whole stock is used. When I do the 3d finish a little lip is left at the edge. I have tried using an offset vector and a boundary offset but neither of these has worked. Any suggestions on how to machine past the edge of the stock?
Thank you,
Steve

Re: machining past the edge of material
Do the setup with the material just a little longer than it is in real life and make the component longer by the same amount - doesn't have to be much, just enough to kill the bump.

I agree. Just make the material a little bigger.

Re: machining past the edge of material
I had thought of making the "material" longer by .01 that should do it. Thank you all.
