Chevy Project

Post by Rcnewcomb »

Working on a project for someone who likes Chevrolet automobiles.

MDF, still thinking through the finish options.

I've got a Chevy. Those look great save for the one you must have accidently cut upside down! ;)

Ha!

Yeah, me too. Mine is a '54 150 that belonged to my grandfather. Matter of fact, in between the frustration of trying to figure out how to inlay a dome, I have been equally, if not more, frustrated trying to get my '54 running with a replacement Carter YF carburetor. Long story, but anyone who has a 235 or 216 knows the carburetion frustration!

Nice work on the logos.

I'm working on a design for a clock out of a '54. Mine is a 150 (no clock, radio, heat, air, ash tray, etc.), but I found this clock on ebay years ago. Anyway, I have some ideas I'm going to figure out how to make soon...I hope...maybe.

Unfortunately, our Z got totaled early this year. This was what I came up with to display the insgnias off of the car...

One of the dogs decided some of the pieces looked like the perfect new chew toy. Does that mean he loves Chevys or hates them?

Well, there goes the idea behind the logo "Built Chevy Tough".

Zigmund likes Chevys but realizes now he can't eat a whole one.

Also, very thoughtful to share the file - thank you.

Maybe Zigmund is locked in the oral developmental phase.
