Tool path assignment to Layers

Post by trav62078 »

Is there a way to assign a tool path or function to a layer? For example: I draw all of my 5mm holes in green. Can assign my 5mm dill to bore 16mm deep to my green layer?

Investigate the user manual on the item "Set toolpath cut depth from imported vectors" in the Vector Selection window while creating a toolpath. There's a checkbox there and more information.

Yes you can. I use it on almost all of my toolpaths. At the bottom of the toolpath menu click on the selector button. That opens the association to layer menu. It's pretty intuitive and easy to figure out.
