Open vectors
Where is a good video to explain nodes and fixing open vectors. Thanks.

Re: Open vectors
First, it isn't necessary to "fix" open vectors. They aren't broken and can be very useful. Making a closed vector can be very useful, too, but they are different things.
Nodes are just the end points of straight lines. Many straight lines connected together can make things like other straight lines, curves, circles, rectangles, squares and etc.
If you enter Node mode, you can see the ends of straight lines indicated with a node. Each of those nodes can be moved around to change the shape of something, but there's always going to be a straight line between the nodes.
Sometimes, you can bend that straight line by changing the type of node that is at the end of it. This is where Curves happen and the controls that effect the curves.
PS. There's more, too!

This page should help with learning about vectors.

Re: Open vectors
There were about 4 or 5 good 5 min tips & tricks videos on node editing, can't find them just now so maybe someone else can link to them
As has been said don't think of open vectors as something that needs to be fixed, depending on the type of work & toolpath you are using they can be very useful, it's just another way of working
