Editing Clipart File Names

Post by FlyNFuzz »

I haven't been able to figure out how to edit clipart and 3D model names on the Clipart tab in VCarve Pro. Names such as "Hack of the Week #XXX" just don't provide much detail. I'd like to be able rename some of the files. Is there a way to do this

Yes, they are just files and folders within Windows.

For recent versions of Windows you need to go to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vectric Files" and the clipart is in the Clipart folder and the Design & Make folders. You can rename the folders/files in there to whatever you want and that will reflect in the clipart tab.

You can also get to the correct folder by right clicking on any clipart item in the bottom pane and selecting "Open Containing Folder".

If you rename any folders that are in the top pane you may need to remove and then add them again using the buttons to pick up the new name.
