Can I do this in V-Carve Pro?

Post by Marwellca »

I want to make a heart shaped gift for wife for Valentines. Is it possible in V-Carve Pro to dome the top of the heart, and give it a more rounded appearance?

I also plan on adding a 3D model of roses on there as well, and think if the top of the heart was more rounded, it would look better.

I am using version 10.512.

Thank you.

The other way you could have done this if there had not been a heart-shaped model available would have been to use one of the dish/dome models & a heart-shaped vector as a machining boundary for your 3D rough & finish toolpaths. You could also machine it using level clipping which Todd explains far better than I could
