i have rapid gap set as folls clearance z1 0.2 Z2 0.2 material thickness .75
zero to top of soilboard
when maching start cut it cuts into material by about 1/16 of a inch before plunge into material
i reset z1 to .25 and gets the same results it makes no diff how much i change z1 settings
i know there is something i am missing but cant put my finger on it hope someone can help

Are you setting the z-zero to the same in VCarve and on your machine (top of spoilboard in this case)?
Does your material thickness in VCarve match what you're actually cutting?
How are you physically setting the z-zero on the machine?

I had to set something in my post processor for it to work for me. Not in a place to look it up now but it had RAPID Z in it

I am sure i must have changed a setting that cause the problem
i ran an older files and they worked with no problem. have to keep trying
