There isn't a VCarve manual. The "manual" is the interactive Help Contents on the Help menu. You can make a PDF of it by clicking Single Page at the top and then printing from your browser (Ctrl-P is the usual shortcut) and choosing Microsoft Print to PDF as your printer. Be warned that it's nearly 600 pages though.

If you print it as a single page PDF there will be no table of contents. As well the major sections will appear as if a random order. For example if I were to print the PDF these are the major headings of the first 6 sections:
  • Move Selection
  • Edit Sheet - Single Sided
  • Tool Database
  • Laser Module
  • Adapting a post-processor for Lasers
  • SketchUp Files

Never said it was a good idea. :D  :)

Personally I would never print it out as the interactive help is far superior to any printed manual in my opinion and has the advantage of being automatically updated as the software is updated and/or when errors are found in the documentation.

One thing I forgot to mention is that if the idea of creating a PDF manual is to have offline access to the Help then it already works that way. If you access the Help without an internet connection then the local version of the Help is used rather than the online version.

You will have to print the info as a PDF.

Select the HELP tab as was previously suggested.

The info you are after is in Help Contents and What's New.

Select one of them.

The next screen has a pull down menu system across the top. Select Single Page.

Now use the windows printing function and do a Save as PDF.

The preview will take a while, one is 283 pages and the other 57.

Repeat for the other file. While not ideal this is a close as you will get.

Adrain taught me this years ago. Hope this helps.
