Centre a circle within a star shape

Post by leonw »

Hi Guys,

I wish to carve a rounded star and drill a hole in the exact centre of the shape (file attached). I have tried the Align Selected Objects tool and can't seem to get the circle dead centre. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Cheers
Leon

Draw a temp circle around the outside of the star, select the 16.75mm circle first the hold the shift key and select the temp circle. Use the Center Objects tool under the Align Objects tool group. You can then remove the temp circle.

Draw a circle around the outside of the star. Use the size tool to change the size of that circle to 16.75mm (Anchor set to centre).
