Simple spacing problem I am sure
Simple spacing problem I am sure
Hi. I am very new to Vcarve and I know its likely a simple solution but how do i achieve equal spacing in a situation like this? It is a component for a cutlery tray FYI...I would need to transfer the exact measurements/cutouts to another component as well. Was not sure how to do that as well...

In this case, I would just use the Transform Objects - Move Selected Objects tool and manually enter the centreline positions of the 2 rectangles. You could also use the Array command, but that's probably more trouble than it's worth in this case.

You can the use spacing options in the Alignment tools to equally space them.
Once it's spaced you can use the measure tool or the transform tool to get the measurements. You could also cut and paste the vectors and use them as alignment markers removing them afterwards. Many ways to do it as is often the case with VCarve.
