Moving tools, etc. to new computer .....

Hello All !
How do I move my tool database from my Win7 Pro computer ( off line ) to my new win10 Pro computer that has internet connection ?

I needed to do that for a version 9.519 install. Within the VCarve program I used the File > Open Application Data folder menu option.

There was a directory called ToolDatabase. I copied the contents, via a USB drive, to the similar folder on the new machine (overwriting the default install files).

I would expect v10 and v11 to be similar. But don't quote me on that. :D

That's the way I did it Steven from my 2 Win7 non-internet control computers to this connected Win10.
Then on this Win10, I also used the save to cloud option in VCP11.
I've learned my lesson well. You can't please everyone,so you have to please yourself

You can also use the export/import buttons on the tool database dialog which is the safest offline way if the versions are different. Be aware that it exports the level that is selected though so if you haven't got all your tool under one level you will have to do an export for each level.
