Gremlins in my molding toolpath

Post by rhammans »

Suddenly I have a problem that needs the wisdom of the forum. In my latest molding .crvfile on my rotary axis, I'm unable to generate a toolpath because I keep getting the "cut depth exceeds" message. What's weird is that I just changed the file by going from 3 identical objects to four and did a save as... Nothing else changed. 1.5" diameter blank with the highest point of 1.42". It says that I'm trying to cut 3.9" inches deep. I'm sure and hopeful that it is something stupid that I have missed or misclicked. I have rebuilt the file from scratch and that made no difference.
I have an exemplar of one item and then use the array copy to get the number I need to fill the various size blanks I get.

Attached is the file if anyone would be willing to help out.

Thanks
Rick
