Any one notice when nesting in version 11 the program doesn't nest on sheet one. The nesting starts on sheet 2.
The only work around I found was to manually nest sheet one first or Rename sheet 1 to sheet 0.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for your time.

Nope, that's how it works. I also change sheet 1 to sheet 0 before nesting.

Hi Dealguy11, When I do this Nesting operation in 10.5 it works just fine, starting at sheet 1.
Thanks for your reply. Jim

Re: Nesting Version 11
The way nesting works was completely changed in 11 so it does many things differently to the way 10.5 did including the naming.
You can now nest on different sized sheets, have different sized nest borders on those sheets, name sheets to be whatever you want, have different z-zeroes etc etc.

Re: Nesting Version 11
Maybe so. It just seams logical to start on the first sheet. Especially if you bring stuff in there to get a quick material count and do not realize it added 1 sheet. I know now. Thank you.

Re: Nesting Version 11
Here's a suggestion to deal with the nesting name issue. I created a file template for my nesting jobs. In the file template, I renamed the default sheet to Sheet 0. It also contains my standard layers, with colors already set, and a few other pieces of geometry that I use all the time. When I create a new file, instead of clicking on "File | New", I click on "File | New from template...". Now, I get everything already set up, including "Sheet 0" instead of "Sheet 1" for the first sheet.

Yes i have this issue , yes all we and good changing the sheet 1 to sheet 0 or using templates
but why should we work arround an issue that wasnt there in any other versions
i think Vectric should set there first sheet to either 0 or something were all familar with like DEFAULT SHEET
then if you nest and load your toolpath templates there asigned to the correct sheet
