Is there any way I can change the default directory for Clipart installation from the C:\ drive?
My C-drive is an SSD with limited capacity so I only install programs on it to get the benefit of speed. All my other data files are kept on normal hard drives. This is standard/best practice for managing data. Thanks in advance.

Re: Default Clipart Directory
You can move the clipart anywhere you want after installation. If you want to change the default install folder then the only way to do that is to either use symbolic links at the Windows level or, what I've done, move the default location of Public Documents (and optionally others) to another drive.

Thank you Rcnewcomb. Just what I was looking for and so quick as well. I'll add a post when I've re-organised my files.

Re: Default Clipart Directory
if you have a fairly small SSD drive as your C drive then you might want to look at Adrians option to change the location of the default folders within windows, doing it this way then you not only move the default location of your clipart but other folders that may eat up a lot of space over time like downloads, pictures etc
