Golf awards and door prize

Post by gad5264 »

Once again it's that time of year for my wife to chair the local Rotary golf outing. I made her these plaques for "Closest To The Pin" "Longest Drive" and "Longest Putt" the plaques are pine and were stained dark, relief carved and then I 3D carved the golfball and tee out of maple and affixed them to the plaque.

The golf tee and ball is made of maple and is 13" tall and 5.5" wide.

Hope the recipients like them.

A plaque of more than 2 ft. tall is some plaque for the wall. You could use that for a door! :D

Looks great!

HAHA, the golf ball and tee are a separate piece. The small plaques are only 7.5" tall. I guess I should have clarified.

I see. I assumed that was a blow-up of the tee on the plaque.
