I am looking for a material that can be cnc'ed and has little or no grain pattern.
Been searching but talking to people have come up empty handed
Need it to be 1/2 to 1 inch in thickness
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Grainless materilal
Depends what the end goal is. I use MDF, Apollo Magna (solid surface like Corian), high density surfboard type foam and many different type of recycled and non-recycled plastics. None of them have a grain but they all have different strengths and weaknesses.

Re: Grainless materilal
As Adrian has said you haven't given anywhere near enough detail, there are lots of different types of material that can be CNC machined, CNC machines are used in a wide range of industries with a wide range of materials.
More detail is really required to be able to figure out what type of material would be suitable for your application

Re: Grainless materilal
How about maple or basswood ?
Both cut well and have little grain pattern.

Do you need it to be wood? What about HDU or PVC. Just wondering

Re: Grainless materilal
People who make counter tops always have sink cutouts they will part with- I love corian [and offbrands], machines well and can also be cut and engraved on a CO2 laser.
