Shoe Horn

Post by potl »

Hi
Have watched the video about making a shoehorn on cnc and wonder if anyone can help me set up a toolpath for this?

Do you mean the New Brit Workshop one?

The toolpaths are in the files already. You just need to adjust the feed rates for your machine.

The full CNC cut file is two sided with toolpaths but for some reason they've done that one file as an Aspire (CRV3D) file rather than VCarve (CRV) as all the other files in the project are which is probably why you haven't seen it.

Not sure why they did it like that as it should work as a VCarve job as well.

I do not have ASPIRE so I made my own adjustments so that I could make one from V-Carve PRO which I own! :)

I created my own model (basic shape) from the .dxf files supplied then added a slight dish to the foot heal portion in my two-sided project file. I also used the moulding toolpath to add a slight curvature to the backside too!
