Minimum speed for thiny engravers?
I went over from the original Taig spindle to a sewing machine motor which reduces the spindle speed from 10 000 to 8 000 RPM and need to know if that is fast enough for engraving in wood with 1 flute engraving bits.

I really admire a person who will convert a sewing machine motor to cnc work. Sorry I can't answer your question though...
