Indoor Sign Work in Progress

Making this out of 1/2" MDF. It is about 22" across. (I probably should have used a larger offset.) I used a plunge roundover bit from Magnate.net for the cutout. There is a 1/8" pocket for the letters. The letters have been prism carved. I'll show photos when they have been painted.

Credit to you, Randall, for choosing the font, font size and bit that cleans up well with a prism toolpath. I gave up on it, because I couldn't face the acute angle cleanups anymore!

Applying a faux stone finish to the main board. I masked off the channels for the letters using blue painter's tape.

Nearing completion. I need to clean up some of the squeeze-out from gluing on the letters.
