Randall,
Another lubricant I use for Alum and Brass is Tapmatic Edge Lube. It comes in a sleeve the size of a caulking tube. One tube could last a lifetime. I use an electric coffee cup warmer and small metal dish to keep it in liquid form. Spreading it on the surface of the
metal with an acid brush. I like it even more than WD-40. Can't beat the convenience of WD though.

After you are done cutting:blue tape and super glue method
- how do you release the part?
- how do you remove the tape and glue?

I have a real thin putty knife to slip between the part and the table, sometimes the part will help by being rigid but if its bendy you need to be careful. Once one side of tape releases the rest peels off.
