stacked text not clean
clear out pass leaving missed areas when done but not showing on software view. circled problems in red.

step over was .1 using whiteside rd1600 bit

If you have a stepover of 0.1, that's about 80%. That's wayyyy too big. For a nice finish try something like 8%. Large areas is what the clearance tool is for, also at 8%.

If you use a clearance bit and a smaller bit, make sure you set the Z=0 in the EXACT SAME SPOT. The slightest variation will cause witness lines. I usually pick a spot that will not be milled near the clamps.

A 0.1" stepover for a 0.125" bit may produce a rough flat surface and may be excessive for this application but it doesn't really explain why the original poster had those pieces left over.
Both the "Pocket" and "VCarve / Engraving" toolpaths can use a 0.1" (80%) stepover to produce paths that will cut all material as per the OP's statement:

It's interesting to note that the bits on the arms of the Y seem to have been but with a v-bit.not showing on software view
