@Aussie (Way Down Yonder!)

Thank you, Appreciate the Information and files you have provided!

I may even try my hand at making an Acrylic Lit Sign just got to rattle the old nugget to come up with something to etch onto the Acrylic.

Cheers,

There are so many light kits available on Amazon with different designed electronics is there a particular one that fits the base you designed?

Is you tool geometry correct for the O flute? 1/8" bit with 1/2" pass depth?

I shall check the tool information, when loading a new tool into the database I use the Master Tool file from Amana .... I fell into the trap of changing the tool parameters in the database rather than editing the tool in the toolpath.... now I just use sight and sound when cutting for feed, speed and chipload, I am always very conservative with my DOC as it matters not to me whether the cut takes 5 mins or 10 mins as I am just a home hobbyist and have plenty of things to do in the shop while its cutting.

Even as a rookie I know speed and feed is machine dependent

I am a rookie as well, but I have never seen a tool cut 4X its diameter.
