Can I see the "cut area" in the design view?

Post by kristenanne77 »

Still reorienting myself to using after a long while. Please correct me if i am wrong, but I seem to remember that after a toolpath was made and simulated in the 3d rotatable view, I was able to switch to the design tab and see the toolpath area lightly colored. Now when I do it, I will see arrows representing the toolpath, but no longer see the shaded cut area of the toolpath. Is this feature still available?

Thanks
K

In the preview toolpath window you can change the color of each toolpath.

For current software, there is an icon to click for the Solid blue shading to appear in the 2D window. (Works for Pocket Toolpaths, Molding Toolpaths, Drill Toolpaths, Profile Toolpaths and V-Carve Toolpaths.)

See the screenshot pointing to that icon...

Yes, thank you.

I will look for the icon or the checkbox for show 2d preview.

Thanks
