Hello Tex,

Yeah that is something I will do when I finalize this challenge. Right now just concentrating on getting all vectors organized for the toolpathing. By grouping the toolpaths it will then become clear as to how the stacking carving process is achieved. Grouping toolpaths definitely is a great feature.

Another feature to keep in mind is the ability to use the layers of certain vectors and vector selection to associate vectors to toolpaths rather than just picking and highlighting vectors randomly and/or individually from the drawing view.

Decided to take the time to group toolpaths while it was fresh on the mind. I also cleaned up/renamed some of the layers involved within the project too.
Below is a image showing these changes.

Certainly hope this process inspires/motivates someone!!! :)

Thank You Highpockets (John)! :)

Something I would like to mention too is the fact that if you were to create an entire model from this Emblem the carving time would be huge versus the Stacking Technique to achieve a 3 Dimensional Appearance!!!

Thank You Everyone for your comments/suggestions they are well taken and appreciated!

Here is another version of the Navy Mustang Emblem with outer edge prepped. This can also be made where the text and stars are VCarved into outer perimeter rather than projected upward as they are in the image thereby removing some exposed sharp edges. :)

Stay tuned the .crv file will be coming soon. I am on the final review before uploading to dropbox

Navy Mustang Emblem Version 2.png
Version as stated in previous post.

It can be also made with the approx. 1/4" raised border taking away the radiused edge. All depends on the individual's preference!
