Is there a downloadable version of the VCarve pro user manual?

Re: User manual
Just to clarify as there is a lot of "noise" in that thread the manual is essentially the Help Contents on the Help menu. If you click on the Single Page link at the top of the Help page when it loads into your browser you can then use the browser controls to print out the whole thing to either a printer or a PDF file if you desire.
However, because the Help is a browser based system, you have all the facilities of your browser available to search for terms (Ctrl-F is the standard shortcut key for search) and you can use the left hand and top links to navigate around as well.
What a lot of people don't realise is that the screenshot that appears on the Help Contents is actually interactive so you can click on any area of that to get help on that particular function. Also clicking on the ? mark in the top right of any form/dialog in the software itself will take you to the relevant page.

Re: User manual
One thing I have learned with Vcarve is that if you need something, try to make it yourself. As far as a downloadable manual goes, I opened the user guide using the little question mark, then from the user guide option did a select all then copy. I pasted that into a blank word document in Word. Not the best result, but at least I have a guide that can be opened and read without the need for an internet connection.

Re: User manual
You don't need an internet connection to use the Help. If an internet connection is available then it uses the latest copy of the Help on the Vectric servers. If there is not one available then it uses the copy of the Help that is installed when you install VCarve to start with.
When you click on the ? mark you are loading up the same Help files that you get by going to the Help menu so you're not doing anything differently than loading the Help and using the Single Page option and printing that.
