First time using tiling

Post by cusoak »

I need some help using the tiling tool
Attached file is to long to be cut on my ShapeokoXXXL
Cutting area is 32x32.
The file is ready to cut with toolpaths
If there is a video you might be able to point me too that would be great.
I want to cut the top portion then slide the board up and cut the bottom half.
I that will work
Thanks Jeff

I have made several large items on my 24”x24” cutting area using the tiling feature. By all means, watch as much video on it as possible. The key for me was using alignment pins for the Y axis that I could slide the work along when it was time to cut the next tile. That and adding a mark on the work and a fixed mark attached to the table that I could use to know I moved the work exactly the amount needed for the tile. Keep the amount of overlap cut small.

Good Luck, it works great but you have to plan it out first.
