Internet explorer?!

Post by Peteg »

I was clicking the 'Get help with this' question mark in the toolpath pane, everything opens with Bing except for the pocket toolpath help, which opens with internet explorer! seriously? IE? have I gone back in time ten years? I am confused.

Has anyone else had this?

Oh, and it doesn't have any help.

Cheers

Peter

I had the same issue and contacted Vectric support. They gave me instructions on how to change the browser to one of your choice. I use Firefox.

Bing is a search engine not a browser. I assume you mean Microsoft Edge which is the default browser on Windows 10?

Yeah, you're right. I never use edge. I generally loathe anything to do with windows 10. But that's a whole different discussion/argument.

Doesn't answer my question though, which still is, why does the pocket toolpath help open Internet Explorer with no actual help present When all the others open with 'Edge'.

Cheers

In the Vectric programming -- the link to the "Pocket Toolpath" is missing/or not assigned properly.
In fact, when I click on it, it just opens several empty tabs in my browser.

All others seem to be fine!

The Original poster needs to contact Vectric support. This is not something we forum members can solve!

Here is a link that will take the original poster to the "Pocket Toolpath" Help - https://docs.vectric.com/docs/V10.5/VCa ... index.html
